Prayers during a Crisis in Egypt

Prayers during Crisis in Egypt

New York City, U.S.A. (SAT-7). The international CEO of satellite TV station SAT-7, Terence Ascott, has published an updated on the Crisis in Egypt. He is asking for prayers that G-d will give wisdom to President Mubarak and his advisors, that they will treat their citizens with dignity and respect and that greater loss of life will be avoided. Terence Ascott wrote: „Pray that Egypt will move into a more positive tomorrow, one that includes greater freedoms and justice for all its people – including the 8 to 10 million Egyptians who are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.“ More than 200 people have Egypt have been killed during clashes with citizens and State Security last week, according to Al Jazeera correspondents.

Update from Terence Ascott, SAT-7 CEO

As I write, the situation in Egypt is still in turmoil and no one on Earth knows the outcome. Here are some things we do know:

– Schools, most businesses, banks and newspapers, churches and even hospitals have been closed since Friday due to the violence and curfews.
– The SAT-7 Egypt TV studio/office has been closed for those same reasons.
– Ordinary citizens have been depending on their neighbours to patrol the streets and protect them from looters.
– SAT-7’s four security officers have been staying in the TV studio/

office day and night, sleeping in shifts to protect the building.

– People are hopeful for a change, but some are deeply concerned that extremist Muslim groups might gain control if there is a power vacuum.
– Ordinary Egyptians are beginning to worry that, if the crisis continues much longer, they may have trouble obtaining food and medicines because the shops are beginning to run low on supplies and people have no access to cash. Services such as electricity, transport and water are also under threat because many service workers are staying at home.

– Churches and Christians in Egypt are praying and asking Christians around the world to pray for a resolution to this crisis that will lead to new openness and equality for all members of Egyptian society.

It is difficult to contact our staff in Cairo, but we have talked with a number of them. Most are staying at home and only coming out when the curfew is lifted to buy food and other necessary supplies. They tell us that the city is rationing water so people are also being careful how they use that precious resource in their homes.

Our security staff report that a building near the SAT-7 TV studio/office was looted, but that the local „neighbourhood action committee“ arrested the looters, beating them up in the process. The „committee“ then turned the looters over to army officers who requested that the ad hoc security group refrain from hurting people when they make „citizen’s arrests.“ The SAT-7 security personnel report that the neighbourhood has really gathered together in an atmosphere of solidarity and civic pride, which transcends religious affiliation. The neighbours say they truly appreciate that SAT-7 has 24-hour security officers. One neighbour said, „We are glad you are here because if we fall asleep we know you can warn us if something bad is about to happen.“ The SAT-7 security officers report that the situation seems to have got somewhat better as of Monday, because there are now more army officers and police who have returned to the streets.

SAT-7 has encouraged the rest of its Egypt office staff to stay at home. And because the Internet has been down, we have not been able to transmit any live shows from within the country. But we are broadcasting (from Nicosia) a crawl that runs continually across the bottom of the screen urging prayer for the situation in Egypt. We are hoping to put together a series of special live programmes from Lebanon that will include calls with prominent Christian leaders living in Egypt to discuss the situation on-air.

A large march is taking place today, 1st February. Many people are concerned about what will happen, and they are also worried about the nature of any long-term solution – will their situation be better or could it perhaps get worse? While no one knows for certain, the vast majority of Egyptians are hopeful that positive change will result from the current unrest. Egyptians want change and want a government that is more responsive to their needs and aspirations.

Please join with us as we pray that God will give wisdom to President Mubarak and his advisors, that they will treat their citizens with dignity and respect (and that greater loss of life will be avoided). Pray that Egypt will move into a more positive tomorrow, one that includes greater freedoms and justice for all its people – including the 8 to 10 million Egyptians who are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We intend to keep you informed of the latest information and how it is impacting our staff and the churches of Egypt, as the situation unfolds.

With a grateful heart,

Terry Ascott
International CEO

SAT-7 Calls for Prayer for Egypt

SAT-7 Calls for Prayer for Egypt

Ministry has 65 employees or co-workers in country and is monitoring the situation carefully

Cairo (Egypt) / London (United Kingdom). February 1, 2011. SAT-7 is in a unique position in times of crisis to be able to offer support, wise counsel and encouragement to its viewers. Following the recent bomb attack on a church in Alexandria SAT-7 interrupted its normal programming to broadcast special live programmes giving local Church leaders a chance to respond and minister to people. Although all of SAT-7’s five channels remain on air, the current unrest in Egypt has affected SAT-7’s scheduled live programming from the Egypt studios which have been cancelled due to the unavailability of communication services. Please pray that these services become available once again so that we can continue this aspect of our ministry to the Egypt Church.

Statement from SAT-7 International CEO Terence Ascott:

„We, like many others, are very concerned about the situation in Egypt. We have many staff there and of course we are anxious to ensure that they all remain safe during this time of turmoil. On a personal level, I was also distressed to hear this morning that my son, who is a teacher in Cairo, was among the 2,000 injured in yesterday’s demonstrations – hit in the face by a rubber bullet as he passed out water bottles to both demonstrators and the security forces alike.

Mobile phone lines have been periodically disconnected in the country so it is generally difficult to contact people living there – because most rely exclusively on their mobile phones. The Internet has also been down. But landlines seem to be functioning and we have heard that most of our team is staying out of harm’s way.

The anger being vented on the streets against the Egyptian authorities is based on years of pent-up frustration. The country has experienced decades of stagnation – economic, educational and political. The lack of freedoms and opportunity has left an entire generation feeling hopeless.

Our prayer is that the current unrest will eventually result in positive change leading to greater justice, security and political openness in the country – for all Egyptians including the Christian minority which, historically, has often been neglected and marginalized. But this is not a religious revolt, it is a political one, and SAT-7 is not a political entity. So we encourage Christians everywhere to pray that President Mubarak and his advisors will have wisdom in how best to respond to the justifiable frustrations of the Egyptian people, and that the violence will not lead to an even greater loss of life.

Our Egypt office has asked specifically for prayer for the following:

· For safety for the staff as they face the same issues as all other Egyptians – uncertainty, danger, and fear.
· For freedom of movement without worry of violence.
· For protection for the Egypt office and equipment.
· For unity amongst Christians and an outpouring of love by the Church.
· For the ability to once again produce live programmes to support the local Church.

I and the SAT-7 leadership will continue to monitor the situation in Egypt carefully. SAT-7 is also joining with the 10 million or more Christians of Egypt in calling on believers around the world to pray for a peaceful, just, and positive outcome to result from the political storm raging across the country at this time.

Imprisoned Iranian Women Refuse to Deny Their Faith

Imprisoned Iranian Women Refuse to Deny Their Faith

Open Doors Launches Campaign Urging Iran to Release Christians Now

SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 5 /Christian Newswire/ — On August 9 two Christian women appeared before an Iranian judge who asked them to deny their faith and return to Islam. Maryam Rostampour, 27, and Marzieh Amirizadeh Esmaeilabad, 30, have been held in the notorious Evin prison in Tehran since March 5. They were originally accused of „acting against state security“ and „taking part in illegal gatherings,“ according to Compass Direct News. When both women refused to recant their faith, the judge sent them back to their prison cells „to think about it,“ according to a source who spoke with family members.

„When they said, ‚Think about it,‘ it means you are going back to jail,“ said the source, according to Compass. „This is something we say in Iran. It means: ‚Since you’re not sorry, you’ll stay in jail for a long time, and maybe you’ll change your mind.'“

The source said the first goal of judges in such cases is usually to make „apostates“ deny their faith through threats or by sending them back to prison for a longer time.

The women re-appeared in court on Oct. 7. The anti- state charge was dropped but they still face „apostasy“ and „propagation of the Christian faith“ charges.

Also, the women have undergone intense interrogations which have reportedly included sleep deprivation and other psychological pressure. They share a cell with over 20 other women and both have deteriorating health. Marzieh suffers from spinal pain, an infected tooth and intense headaches and is especially in need of medical attention, which has not been provided. Evin prison has received criticism for its human rights violations and executions in recent years.

On Oct. 26, the U.S. State Department designated Iran, along with seven other countries, as „Countries of Particular Concern“ for their religious repression. The Islamic Republic reportedly imprisoned, harassed and intimidated people based on their religious beliefs, while government-controlled broadcast and print media intensified negative campaigns against religious minorities, the report said. Iran is ranked No. 3 on Open Doors‘ World Watch List of countries where Christians suffer the most severe persecution.

The Open Doors USA advocacy department is launching a campaign asking people to send a respectful message to Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Khazaee, who is Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations in New York City. The email messages will be sent to the government in Iran as well. The letters will ask for the immediate release of Maryam and Marzieh.

A sample email letter to send is located at the Open Doors USA website at www.OpenDoorsUSA.org. Please do not refer to Open Doors in your email.

„Maryam and Marzieh are suffering in an Iranian prison simply for refusing to recant their belief in Jesus Christ…they truly are modern heroes of the faith,“ says Open Doors USA President/CEO Dr. Carl Moeller. „We must speak out against this injustice. Join our campaign urging the Iranian government to release these women.“

Pray for Maryam and Marzieh Sunday, Nov. 8, during the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

An estimated 100 million Christians worldwide suffer interrogation, arrest and even death for their faith in Christ, with millions more facing discrimination and alienation. Open Doors supports and strengthens believers in the world’s most difficult areas through Bible and Christian literature distribution, leadership training and assistance, Christian community development, prayer and presence ministry and advocacy on behalf of suffering believers. Human Rights Day 2010: Freedom to Speak Out Essential For Human Rights Defenders

Human Rights Day 2010: Freedom to Speak Out Essential For Human Rights Defenders

London. December 9, 2010/3mnews.org/Article19.org/– On the occasion of the Human Rights Day, ARTICLE 19 calls on governments to protect the freedom of expression of human rights defenders speaking out against discrimination and other human rights abuses. Human rights defenders – whether human rights monitors, activists or journalists – actively seek justice, accountability and transparency for human rights abuses by working alone or in collaboration with others, at the local, national and/or international levels. Over the past year, ARTICLE 19 has witnessed that human rights defenders across the world have faced ever increasing threats to both themselves and their families simply for exercising their the right to freedom of expression and speaking out against discrimination, exclusion, oppression and violence. This issue, which confronts states such as Mexico, Egypt, Sri Lanka and China among many others, deserves more focussed attention and action by the international community.

Yet, too often, a culture of impunity surrounds such threats and actual attacks on human rights defenders who have raised their voices against violations. The denial of human rights defenders’ rights leads to a “chilling effect” on their right to freedom of expression, impedes the public’s “right to know” and is a significant restraint upon their ability to hold state and non-state actors accountable for abuses.

ARTICLE 19 therefore urges states to properly implement their existing international human rights obligations to protect human rights defenders, including those indicated in the Declaration on Human Rights Defenders and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. State officials or agents should not be involved directly or indirectly in targeted attacks against human rights defenders for exercising their right to speak out against human rights abuses, or any other reason. Any attacks on human rights defenders, wherever they occur, should be promptly and thoroughly investigated by a competent, independent and impartial body established by the state. The state authorities should hold accountable all persons found to have committed abuses against human rights defenders, regardless of political affiliation or rank, and according to procedures that meet international standards of due process. States should prevent, punish and redress the harm caused by state or private actors, including unidentified armed groups, to human rights defenders.

ARTICLE 19 also hopes that Human Rights Day 2010 will inspire and embolden a new generation of human rights defenders to speak up to end discrimination and other human rights violations whenever and wherever they are manifested.

Wikileaks and Article 19

Wikileaks and Article 19

Statement issued by Article 19 Human Rights Organization – Universal Right To Seek And To Publish Information Without Frontiers – Article 19: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers — Universal Delcaration Of The Human Rights

London. December 3, 2010 /3mnews.org/– The Human Rights Organization Article 19 has released on Thursday a statement on the situation of Wikileaks, Julian Assange and the universal right to seek and to publish information of any kind aacording to article 19 of the Universal Declaration Of The Human Rights which have been proclaimed in 1948 by the United Nations in New York City in the United States of America. The controversy over the latest release of documents by Wikileaks and major newspapers should not be used by nations as an excuse to limit citizens’ rights to access information. ARTICLE 19 calls on governments around the world to fulfil their obligations to transparency and the public’s right to know, including the obligation to give full effect to principles of proactive and mandatory disclosure of information.

“Information is the oxygen of democracy” says Dr Agnes Callamard, ARTICLE 19 Executive Director. “Rather than passing more secrecy laws and threatening to prosecute journalists and whistleblowers, governments should focus on making more information available and only protecting that which can cause substantive harm. At the same time, journalists have an obligation to exercise caution when revealing possibly sensitive information.”

As ARTICLE 19 highlighted previously, respect for international standards on freedom of information and protection of whistleblowers are paramount to the debates on issues raised by latest releases. ARTICLE 19 maintains that under these standards, any restrictions on access to information must fall within the scope of the limited regime of exceptions. It is public bodies who are obliged to show that disclosure of the information would cause substantial harm and information should still be disclosed if the benefits of disclosure outweigh such harm. States should also adopt and implement a legal and policy framework that protects whistleblowers from prosecution, and allow for public interest exemptions for revealing information such as corruption or human rights abuses.

ARTICLE 19 notes that much of the information contained in the cables appears to be already available in the public domain. None of the released documents were classified as top secret and most of the information in those six per cent classified as secret was also publically known. Further, these documents would likely be released anyway in the course of requests under the US Freedom of Information Act.

ARTICLE 19 is concerned about efforts by the US Government and other countries to prosecute a Wikileaks representative for violating the Espionage Act or other national Officials Secrets Acts. IIt is an obligation of governments – not of media and private individuals – to protect the confidentiality of official information if necessary under legitimate interests. We also urge the media, government officials, academics, and others to condemn calls for violence against Wikileaks staff and whistleblowers.

ARTICLE 19 also rejects calls and demands to maintain or expand secrecy legislation rather than adopt a comprehensive right to information framework, including the obligation of proactive disclosure. Nations without freedom of information laws such as Singapore have used the Wikileaks revelations as an excuse to justify their current restrictive regimes, while China has blocked internet access to the site. We call on all governments to respect of the right to information and its importance in democratic processes.

ARTICLE 19 does not believe that the leaks are likely to chill the speech of officials and rejects any policy changes that would impact on the free flow of information in this area. Studies of the effects of right to information legislation in numerous countries have found that there has been little impact on the amount of information that is recorded or that opinions are blunted following an increase in transparency. In fact, in some cases, they have found that the quality of documents has improved with the knowledge that it will become public some day, and focus on provision of real political analysis. Officials have a duty to pass on important information and that is not lifted because of fears that it one day may become public. The US FOIA has been in effect for over 40 years so several generations of officials have learned to live with it.

ARTICLE 19 welcomes the apparently extensive efforts by the newspapers involved in the release of the embassy cables to review the documents, place them in context and ensure that the release of the information did not cause serious harm. Most of the analysis has been serious and has shone an important light on relations between nations. We also commend the fact that it was the combination and collaboration of electronic and mainstream media that gave strength to the latest release.

Article 19: Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers — Universal Delcaration Of The Human Rights. Bob Fu Files Petition on Behalf of Chen Guangcheng and Jiang Tianyong

Bob Fu Files Petition on Behalf of Chen Guangcheng and Jiang Tianyong

MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 21, 2010. Christian Newswire. On September 20, 2010, Reverend Bob Fu, the President of China Aid Association, filed a petition to the United States Congress and Administration and the European Parliament and Commission for immediate intervention in two high-profile cases of persecution concerning human rights lawyers in China. The request concerned the hardship imposed by the government of Linyi, Shandong province on Chen Guangcheng and his family, and that of Jiang Tianyong and his family, foisted upon them by the Beijing government.

In 2005, the blind rights defender Chen Guangcheng exposed about 130,000 forced abortions carried out in Linyi family-planning programs, and provided legal assistance to the victims — poor, local farmers without legal aid. In January 2007, Chen Guangcheng was sentenced on charges of „intentional destruction of properties and inciting a mob to disrupt traffic.“

Although released from prison, Chen is extremely sick, and he and his family have received a threat from the government: If they contact the outside world again, they will be immediately sent to prison. Great concern for Chen Guangcheng’s life and his safety has arisen.

Jiang Tianyong is an outstanding Christian rights defense attorney dedicated to representing cases of human rights and religious persecution, with an objective to promote religious freedom and improve the legal system in China. He and other rights defense attorneys drew media attention during a hearing at the US House of Representatives in October 2009. Jiang testified on the issues of religious freedom in China and the violent and brutal implementation of the family-planning policies. From September 7th of this year, Attorney Jiang and his entire family have been suffering harassment and threats from government security agents. The safety of his entire family is now seriously threatened.

China Aid Association hereby makes the following proposals:

1. Request the US Congress and the European Parliament pass an emergency resolution on these cases.

2. Request the US Administration, European Commission or their consulates and embassies to send officials to Beijing to meet with Attorney Jiang Tianyong and also to visit the entire family of Chen Guangcheng in Linyi, Shandong province.

3. Assist the International Red Cross in dispatching medical staff to provide emergency medical care for Chen Guangcheng.

Sincerely,

Bob Xiqiu Fu

President
China Aid Association

Diskriminierungen in diesen Bereichen entgegenzutreten.

Judge Bans National Day of Prayer: Sign Free Petition to Obama

MEDIA ADVISORY, April 16 /Christian Newswire/ — Federal Judge Barbara Crabb ruled in favor of atheist complainers at the Freedom from Religion Foundation, that government recognition of prayer violates the First Amendment. Crabb claimed her decision „carries out the Founders‘ plan of preserving religious liberty to the fullest extent possible in a pluralistic society,“ proving she actually believes the Founding Fathers, who prayed to the Judeo-Christian God in Congress, would now suddenly oppose public acts of prayer.

The Pray In Jesus Name Project, led by Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, has already gathered several thousand paper and electronic petition signatures asking President Obama to defend and reinstate public observance of the National Day of Prayer, which Congress created in 1952.

ITALY, TWO HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS FROM EVERYONE GROUP RECEIVE A PENAL ORDER (A CRIMINAL CONVICTION WITHOUT GOING TO TRIAL)

ITALY, TWO HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS FROM EVERYONE GROUP RECEIVE A PENAL ORDER (A CRIMINAL CONVICTION WITHOUT GOING TO TRIAL) FOR THEIR HUMANITARIAN WORK: “IT IS THE FIRST TIME IN THE WORLD”

NEW YORK CITY / LONDON, March 5, 2010. March 5, 2010. THE NEWS GIVEN BY THE HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATION: “A CONVICTION BASED ON INACCURATE EVIDENCE GIVEN BY A POLICE OFFICER. IT IS THE UMPTEENTH EPISODE OF ABUSE OF POWER BY THE ITALIAN AUTHORITIES”

EVERYONE GROUP APPEALS TO THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS, THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION AND THE FRONTLINE FOUNDATION: “WE ARE ASKING FOR SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS, VICTIMS IN ITALY OF VIOLENCE, INTIMIDATION AND JUDICIARY ABUSE OF POWER, A WORSE SITUATION THAN IN TOTALITARIAN REGIMES WHERE THE INDIVIDUAL IS AT LEAST GUARANTEED THE RIGHT TO DEFEND HIMSELF.

On February 12th, 2010, Roberto Malini and Dario Picciau, co-presidents with Matteo Pegoraro of EveryOne Group, international human rights organization based in Italy, received notification of a penal order, with the prison sentence commuted into a heavy fine. In the decree, issued on 5/11/09 by the Pesaro Justice Court – Office of the Magistrate for Preliminary Investigations – condemns the activists for the offence punishable by art. 110, 340 of the Italian Criminal Code, because on December 20th, 2008 “in complicity with each other, they caused the interruption, or at least disturbed a police operation aimed at identifying three foreign citizens, and used abusive and disparaging language towards the officers from Pesaro-Urbino Police Headquarters, and interfered in the carrying out of their duty.”

“It is the umpteenth episode of abuse from the authorities (and in particular from the Police Headquarters) we have been subjected to in Pesaro and in Italy” say the co-presidents of the Group. ”Throughout 2008 and in the early months of 2009 we were repeatedly summoned to police headquarters because of our humanitarian work in defence of the Roma community living in our Country”.

After the protests of our Organization for the endless camp clearances of Roma families (without any offer of assistance) and after our protests over the illegitimate expulsion of a group of Afghan refugees who had applied for asylum, the Pesaro Police Commissioner issued Roberto Malini a verbal warning on the following grounds: “Seeing the Roma are notorious criminals, I consider EveryOne Group part of a criminal organization and I invite it to cease its activity”. Following this warning, the activists of EveryOne Group were subjected to various episodes of intimidation and provocation, while the brutal operations aimed at driving the Roma out of the city continued. The attitude of the Police Commissioner and the anti-Roma programme carried out by the Pesaro authorities have been the subject of various Parliamentary questions, leading to the transfer of the Police Commissioner to a different detachment.

Following the camp clearance (in mid winter) of the last Roma families to take refuge in Pesaro, EveryOne Group filed a complaint to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the same Pesaro Justice Court – reporting both the violation of human rights and the open hostility shown towards human rights defenders.

“We were expecting the Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the abuse committed by the local authorities towards the Roma community”, say Malini, Pegoraro and Picciau, “actions that have led to several deaths (due to the hardship suffered by seriously ill people, who were suddenly left without a shelter over their heads), miscarriages (due to the stress and fear experienced by the pregnant women faced with so many armed police officers) and serious humanitarian emergencies.

Instead, the same authorities made use of a legal instrument that exists only in Italy, an instrument that violates article 24 of the Italian Constitution. We are talking about a conviction without a trial, yet another intimidatory tool used against human rights defenders which allows an untrue statement made by a police officer to become law without the accused being given the opportunity to contradict him.

We are aware that there is a danger of falling into a legal ‘black hole’, but we have decided to oppose the sentence and we will continue to oppose it on all levels, even if this means taking the case before the European Court of Human Rights. It is a fundamental principle of civility and democracy which does not only concern this episode, but international activism as whole, and the endless obstacles and dangers involved in defending the lives and the dignity of our most vulnerable citizens”.

As for the case in question, Roberto Malini and Dario Picciau say “on the evening of December 20th, 2008 a police officer was talking in an arrogant manner to a young Roma man, while his colleague waited in the patrol car in front of the bar to be served with sandwiches and drinks. We greeted the young man, Nico Grancea, who we knew very well seeing we had been offering him assistance for over year. In answer, we received from the first officer a brusque and threatening invitation to show some identification. We have had dealings with the police force for years and therefore have sufficient experience to know not to rise to the bait. The police officer took down our details without issuing any notification. The magistrates investigating the case did not listen to what the owner of the bar, Mr. Grancea, or the EveryOne activists had to say. The Pesaro investigating magistrate then decided for “a conviction without a trial”.

“Through our appeal and the relevant procedures for defending our humanitarian work” says EveryOne Group, “we intend to bring the case to the attention of the authorities in charge of protecting human rights defenders, in order for them to establish efficient organisms that defend the work of activists who are forced to operate in extremely difficult conditions”.

On February 14th, 2010 Malini and Picciau’s case was brought up by the co-president of EveryOne, Matteo Pegoraro, in Dublin, during the 5th Frontline Platform for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders, which EveryOne Group (the only European organization) had been invited to attend along with 99 other human rights defenders from all over the world – activists who have received several threats during the course of their human rights activities. “We are appealing to the Frontline Foundation (which protects human rights activists all over the world in cooperation with the United Nations and European institutions) to take up our case. We hope too that the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay, and the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Margaret Sekaggya, – always very alert to episodes of this kind – to immediately intervene against this judiciary abuse, which has no precedent in European activism. We will fight” says Pegoraro, “to ensure that these two human rights defenders – who have been involved for many years in difficult campaigns in defence of minority groups – are not subjected to this violation, even more so if we consider that as co-presidents of EveryOne, they were operating in Pesaro and on Italian territory on behalf of the European MP, Viktoria Mohacsi with the precise aim of investigating the behaviour of the authorities towards the Roma people in Italy.

On behalf of our group, we invite civil society, the politicians who are more alert to matters of fundamental rights, the human and civil rights associations and organizations and the European and international institutions and authorites, to express their criticism of an action that goes against all the charters on the human rights of the individual – as well as violating the international laws on the protection and freedom of action and movement of human rights defenders”.

New York / Erfurt.

SEAPA Capsule Report: Thai journalists caught in crossfire of tense standoff

SEAPA Capsule Report: Thai journalists caught in crossfire of tense standoff

New York, U.S.A./(and). December 2, 2008/3mnewswire.org/– In Bangkok Thai journalist are increasingly finding themselves caught in the corssfire between the two warring political groups and their supporters.

As the political crisis in Bangkok escalates, Thai journalists are increasingly finding themselves caught in the crossfire between two warring political factions and their respective supporters, with reports of harassment, shootings, and physical attacks targetting media offices and practitioners.

Anti-government protesters led by the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) have been occupying Bangkok’s two main airports – the Suvarnabhumi International Airport and Don Muang Airport – for more than a week now. More than 200,000 are believed stranded in Thailand, as the protests plunge the country into deeper political
crisis and worsening economic fallout from the same.

As tensions rise, however, the media has been vulnerable and has indeed come under direct attack.

On November 24, unidentified men aboard a motorized boat along the Chao Phraya River fired grenades at the ASTV head office. Net surrounding the building fortunately deflected the grenades, which fell to the waters and exploded without causing damage or injuries.

ASTV is a satellite TV service provider owned by media mogul Sondhi Limthongkul, leader of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD)anti-government movement. Its security officials believe the attackers‘ main target were the satellite dishes on the building’s roof.

Four days later, another such attack took place. The launched grenades exploded on the fourth level of the ASTV building, shattering glass windows and injuring a newscaster.

The two airports, focal points of the stand-off, are also the site of direct harassment and intimidation against individual journalists.

A photographer from the Thai-language newspaper „Thai Rath“ was attacked by PAD guards at Don Mueang on the night of November 28.

The photographer, who requested anonymity, said a PAD guard struck him from behind, causing him to fall to the ground. At the time, he said he had been taking photographs of another PAD guard beating a man.

He said he was then surrounded by eight or nine guards who snatched his camera and accused him of being an imposter. More guards showed up and assaulted him further until reporters came to his aid, confirming that he was a real photographer.

In another incident, the PAD stopped reporters and photographers from covering the capture of a policeman by PAD guards at Suvarnabhumi Intenational Airport on November 30. The „Bangkok Post“ reported that some PAD protesters also hurled insults at the journalists.

Reporters complained that PAD protesters videotaped them while doing their job. One PAD guard tried to see what they were typing on their computers at Suvarnabhumi airport’s One Stop Service area, which has been turned into a temporary press room.
„The Nation“ reported that PAD protesters also cajoled reporters to report only the good side of the PAD.

„Ban Muang“ newspaper reporter Natthawut Karanyasophon said two PAD followers at Suvarnabhumi International Airport forced him to take off his white T-shirt marked with the message, „Stop Violence“. The guards told him the T-shirt missed the point as only the PAD was treated unfairly.

„The Nation“ said other protesters surrounded Natthawut. PAD co-leader Saranyu Wongkrachang stepped in and moved the media’s work centre to another area.

Natthawut said the Thai Journalists‘ Association (TJA) encouraged reporters to wear the T-shirt while they covered stories at Government House to call for peace. He claimed that though he did not fear the protesters, he changed his T-shirt to avoid more trouble.

Also on November 30, „The Nation“ reported that PAD guards opened fire at a TV station’s OB van at Don Mueang airport, riddling the vehicle with bullet holes. The technician and the driver were unharmed.

Phanumart Jaihork, a TNN relay controller, said he and the driver were lost in the airport vicinity. They stopped at a checkpoint manned by PAD guards in front of the terminal building to ask for directions. Phanumart said he heard gunfire. The guards then told them to drive on and look for a safe place in the airport building.

However, when they passed the second checkpoint, the technician and the driver heard more gunshots, prompting them to flee from the area. The OB van, which bore the TV station’s markings, sustained many bullet holes on the sides, tailgate and roof .

Still in Don Mueang, a scuffle almost broke out between AFP and local Thai media photographers and PAD protesters after the latter demanded for the cameras of the photographers after accusing them of taking pictures of a protester without his consent.

Alarmed by the series of attacks on journalists, the TJA–a founding member of the Southeast Asian Press Alliance (SEAPA)–along with The Press Council of Thailand, the Confederation of Thai Journalists, the Thai Broadcast Journalists‘ Association and the Association of Thai Cable Operators, issued a statement on December 1 calling on both the government and the PAD to stop violent acts against journalists and allow them to perform their duties unhampered.

„These acts are unacceptable since they obstruct the work of the media and threaten the people’s right to access to information. We appeal to protestors of all sides to stop these acts once and for all,“ said the media groups in their statement.

The statement emphasized the need for media to stay in the middle in order to report facts as fairly as possible, „No matter how the current violence turns out, the media has a duty to report facts with balance so that the public is equipped with enough information to make its own decision.“

„We, therefore, appeal to demonstrators to realize and understand the work of the media. Any group that attacks the media will not win public support,“ the statement added.

At the same time, the media groups advised their colleagues to exercise their journalistic duties with caution, reminding them of their duty to „adhere to their professional ethics and not allow themselves to be influenced by any particular group.“

New York / Erfurt.

TV producer in trouble: Serious health problems interrupted investigative television production

<strong>TV producer in trouble:

Serious health problems interrupted investigative television production

New York City / London/3mnewswire.org/November 10, 2008 (intle). An independent and investigative television production about the Nazi threats and terrorism  got interrupted on Saturday, November 8, 2008  in an Eastern city of former Eastern Germany after the independent journalist, broadcasting journalist, author of several books and television producer got by surprise  and unexpected suddenly sick within hours. The founder and director of IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty and director, Andreas Klamm, which has published on October 28, 2008 his third book in the year 2008 “Liberty and Peace NOW! Human Rights Reporters”, ISBN (-10): 3837072436 ISBN (-13): 978-3837072433 got for unknown reasons within a couple of hours this sick that he had to seek for medical care in a hospital although he has no health insurance. The television producer had to spend the night in a local hospital in Eastern Germany. The international news center has today confirmed  the information about the sad incident. </strong>

Andreas Klamm has said: „To those which have told me already in the past that perhaps not all accidents which I have been involved in the past are actually accidents should know that after I have suddenly suffered serious health related problems that suddenly and unexpected I have suffered from unusual though headache, fever and I had to vomit several times. At this time I see nothing which could bring anyone to the conclusion that this was not a sudden disease which for unknown reason has happened.  It was a scary thing and I felt quite weak almost close to the point not to survive this incident and I am sorry that the television production got interrupted. I give highly very SPECIAL THANKS to the doctors and the nurses of the local hospital which helped me to go through this strange sudden disease and crisis. Our viewers and observers which are concerned about these things should know that I have been diagnosed by my former doctor in the year 2003 with possible cancer. The information about possible cancer has been not confirmed because after paying for 22 years the health insurance in Germany and after my former physician had made this concern about my health situation I have got kicked out of the German health insurance. This had caused the problem that since five years in Germany no more blood tests have been taken after several tests which have been leading to the conclusion that there may have taken place some serious health problems. On October 19, 2007 I have been asking the U.S. Department for Justice already for the change of my citizenship according to Article 15 of the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights, United Nations and my hope is still there that this request under special circumstances will be heard. The United States of America is known as the defender of democracy and therefore I believe the USA will help those which are working hard for democracy.”

For security reasons no other information will be published at this moment. Some incidents have caused almost prior the television production that the entire television production was in the danger to fail or to be jeopardized.

Andreas Klamm gave thanks to his viewers and has said also: “For those which do believe our television production  and coverage with a victim of several attempts of assassination and union worker got now again jeopardized and destroyed I do have some real good news for you. Some people which know me know that I have been forced to release some 911 prayers and I did and I am thankful that my prayers have been heard otherwise I would be not able anymore to make this public statement. Because I am waxen poor and do have no money and by grace I had to leave the hospital real quick after receiving some medical treatment and pain relief medication and I have been working hard already on Sunday morning and afternoon on November 9, 2008, although I have felt still weak. With the union worker, communist and victim of several attempted assassination I had the wonderful chance to meet. The interview was quite a challenge. We had almost four hour a good conversation and have been able to produce a two hour extended special television production about his activities and he had many things to tell our viewers. Certainly I do believe every one which supports the freedom of the press, the freedom of speech, liberty, democracy and peace will like this television production which will be aired soon on IBS Television Liberty and other TV stations.  Please understand that at this time I am not able to release further information for security reasons. As soon as the television production will be released our international news desk in London and co-workers in New York City will release some more information. For those which are concerned about my health situation. Please, if you want to do something real good for me, than continue to pray for me before the Holy God of Israel and the Lord our God and if you want to you can make a donation or send me a Kosher gift basket to our editorial office in Germany. You should know that I have prayed a lot before the television production has taken place and that only under prayer I went to the certain locations to produce this interview on our educational television program. If you want to pray for something good, than please continue to pray that I will find some relief in New York City next year  in 2009. As you know the 44th President of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama, has got elected on November 4, 2008 and there is a lot of hope that the first Afro-American President will take a public stand for the human rights and grant them to those which seek them.

For those which are seriously concerned about some health problems of mine  I am planning to go to a good Jewish hospital in New York City next year and I will ask the doctors to take some blood tests. Please understand  although in 2000 and 2007 a co-producer and me have received several threats I have to continue to work even in cases if some serious dangers might apply. The respect for truth and for the right of the public to truth is the first duty of the journalist, actually of all journalists. Have Hans and Sophie Scholl be scared about the dangers taking with their leaflets a public stand against war and the mass murder of our Jewish brothers and sisters and all of those other 10 million victims during the years in 1933 to 1945?  There is not this much time left to fool or play around or to hide the truth. We have to publish a part of the truth so far as we have a chance to do so. However I can not allow it going to happen that some people which threaten us will stop the freedom of the press,  freedom of speech, liberty, peace and democracy.

Therefore I give very SPECICAL THANKS unto the Lord our God and to all of those which do pray for my co-producers and me. I am very thankful for the goodness of the Lord of our God and you can be certain that even while feeling so close to death as on Saturday I have been able to sense the protective strength and healing power of the Lord our God. Therefore continue please to pray for us and that we will be able to share with you an important part of the truth and very interesting information which you will not find on the mainstream media. Not all German citizens are Nazis and I am very thankful for this. It is sad that there are some forces in the country of Germany which are with no doubt very dangerous and the rising threats of anti-Semistism and some kind of the Nazi movement is a danger to many of us. It is a danger to all of those which love liberty, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, democracy, peace and justice.

But there are precious people which are taking quite a lot of personal risks in extra-ordinary times to take a stand against these threats and I am very thankful for the grace that on this weekend I had the chance to conduct the interview after some hours of health related interruption of our television production on the educational television program of about two hours with some  precious people and heroes in extra-ordinary times. One of them mentioned during the interview: “The only one chance which we do have is to educate people and to share the truth…” and I do believe this man is right in this case. Certainly I will call now for back up and support to all of our international supporters and observers. As I have mentioned already several times in the past weeks I am by no means planning to die or to be buried in Germany and I am planning to travel next year in 2009 to New York City. If I have to die once in some years I want to be buried in the United States of America. Some people know that I have made vows before the LORD our GOD actually also before the Holy God of Israel.

As I have mentioned earlier this month already: Many of us should work for the freedom of the press, the freedom of journalists, for democracy, for liberty, peace and justice. These precious values do require that many of us will work together for something good. It is not only a gift which we have received in 1948 we have to work and have to be engaged for the good things. In many cases it requires the hard labor of many people. In some cases we even have to defend the good things as we can not allow it going to happen that modern countries of democracy will suffer from dictatorship and tyranny again as in the years from 1933 to 1945.

Watch and pray, THANK YOU to all of those which will continue to pray for us. Please continue to pray for some relief for me in New York City and that I will be able to go to a good Jewish hospital in New York City in 2009 where I feel comfortable.

While feeling still a little weak I am preparing already to travel to the next locations to conduct more interviews even with so called controversial journalists and people which could be called with no doubt heroes in extra-ordinary times. More information will be released as soon as the television production will be aired.  Thank you !”

Buch mit Themen zu den Menschenrechten: Liberty and Peace NOW! Human Rights Reporters

Buch mit Themen zu den Menschenrechten:

Liberty and Peace NOW! Human Rights Reporters

New York / London / Ludwigshafen. (intle)./3mnewswire.org/November 8, 2008. „Liberty and Peace NOW!

Das internationale Medienprojekt „Liberty and Peace NOW!

Thousands of Iraqi Christian refugees flee Mosul

Thousands of Iraqi Christian refugees flee Mosul

By Sybella Wilkes
in Qamishli, Syria

New York/U.S.A. / QAMISHLI, Syria, October 24, 2008/UNHCR/3mnewswire.org/– According to the UNHCR thousands of Christian believers have fled from the city of Mosul after threats against their lifes and several killings of Christian believers have taken place.

The UN refugee agency has begun helping hundreds of Iraqi Christians who fled to Syria to escape violence and threats in the northern Iraq city of Mosul.

Thousands of Christians have left Mosul over the past fortnight. Most have found shelter in villages elsewhere in Ninawa province, but about 400 have crossed into Syria. It is still not clear who is behind the intimidation.

„Many Christians from Mosul have been systematically targeted recently and are no longer safe there. We are ready to provide support for those Iraqis that seek refuge in neighbouring countries,“ said Laurens Jolles, UNHCR’s representative in Syria. „We are grateful that Syria continues to welcome refugees,“ he added of a country that is hosting at least 1.2 million Iraqi refugees.

UNHCR has fast-tracked the registration of Christian refugees from Mosul who have turned up at the agency’s offices in the cities of Damascus and Aleppo, while a team of field officers has travelled to the Qamishli area close to Iraq, where some people have been arriving. Following registration, families facing financial difficulties are assessed for emergency grants and food assistance.

Field officers have met 20 families from Mosul in the Qamishli area in the past few days, while more than 20 Iraqi Christian families have sought the agency’s help in Aleppo in recent days.

Those interviewed have told similar stories of sudden flight from Mosul. Many left with limited financial resources and need help extending their visas to Syria. All said they hoped to be able to return to their homes in the Iraqi city soon.

Sara* and her mother left Mosul early last week, two days after someone called one of her colleagues at work and said that all Christians should leave the city immediately or be killed. „My colleagues wept as all the Christians in the office rushed out of the building,“ she recalled.

Sara was unnerved, but decided to leave only after hearing reports that 11 friends had been killed at a checkpoint by militiamen dressed as police officers. „We heard that they were killed on the spot after their identity cards were examined showing the Christian faith of the person,“ she explained.

She and her mother escaped with a couple of bags and all the money that they had in the house – they did not dare go to the bank to remove their savings. They had visited Syria on holiday earlier in the year and met the ancient Christian community in the city of Saidnaya, north of Damascus. The two women, who felt the Church would support them, approached UNHCR in Damascus.

Nina*, a nurse by profession, fled Mosul almost two weeks ago. „The threats started months ago, with phone calls, letters and even messages on our door,“ she said, adding that she tried to ignore them at first.

But when churches closed and friends and acquaintances began falling victim to the violence, including a friend shot dead in front of his son, Nina began reconsidering her position. It was difficult because she had an invalid mother.

Nina hung on in Mosul until October 10, when she received a new threat. She immediately took her mother to a village outside Mosul and then carried on across the border into Syria with her sister’s young family. Nina has no phone and has not been able to reach her mother since she left. She says she’s frightened to go back to Iraq, but is very worried about her mother and is considering returning to try to bring her to Syria.

Mariam* hung on even longer in Mosul and only left with her son Farah* after a wheelchair-bound Christian man was murdered. „We were the hard core that never wanted to leave Iraq, even with the tense environment. My brother in Syria has been begging me to leave for a long time, but I never agreed,“ she said, adding: „As we felt the knife close to our throats, we had no choice but to flee.“

Her two daughters and their families took refuge in villages near Mosul. „They tell us that there is nowhere for them to go. They are in the streets,“ said a softly weeping Mariam, who is trying to arrange a visa to Syria for them.

She dreams of going back, but dreads to think what she will find. She left her keys with Muslim neighbours but has heard that the homes of friends were destroyed with dynamite soon after they left. „I lived in my home for 35 years and had to pack in 30 minutes,“ said the devastated mother as she talked to UNHCR in the living room of her brother’s modest home in Qamishli.

UNHCR has registered around 220,000 Iraqi refugees in Syria, of whom 15,000 originate from Ninewa province where Mosul is located. UNHCR is mid-way through a food distribution for more than 190,000 Iraqi refugees throughout Syria, while approximately 38,000 Iraqi refugees benefit from financial assistance.

World Citizen: Journalist confirms that he is working for the international press – „War is abortion“

World Citizen:

Journalist confirms that he is working for the international press

“War is abortion”

By Andrew P. Harrod

Washington, D.C./New York City/October 24, 2008/3mnewswire.org/– The French-German journalist, broadcast journalist and author of several books, founder and director of IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty and IBS Television Liberty, founder and director of Grace MedCare Ltd. London, United Kingdom has confirmed that since 1984 he is working as journalist, author and broadcast journalist for the international press.

Some German citizen have considered that the French-German author by birth could be Anti-German.

Andreas Klamm has said: “By no means I am Anti-German. These people have perhaps come to false conclusions only because I am against the deadly ideology of the German Nazis, against racism, nationalism, against the abuses of human rights and against the oppression of the poor people and against the oppression of refugees and other people.”

It has been discovered that the journalist has been even recently co-operating with authors and journalists from countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States of America, Israel, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece, Wales, Scotland, England, Ireland, Austria, Australia, Iran, Iraq, Paraguay, Bolivia, Canada, Lithuania, Brazil, Portugal, Turkey, Russia, Denmark, Togo, Kenya, Burundi, Sweden, Georgia, the Dominican Republic and even with journalists from Asia..

The journalist has explained also “You should not wonder about these things. In the German city of Speyer and in the English city of Leeds in the United Kingdom in 1986 I became the founder of IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty, IBS Television Liberty, which is an international and alternative non-commercial media. Since 1986 I have declared many times both on radio and television in many cases that the independent, alternative is supporting international understanding since 1986. Those which have been watching my radio and television programs do know very well, that as a French-German journalist, author, broadcast journalist I do treat myself as a citizen in this world.

The German city of Ludwigshafen am Rhein is a city in this world and on this planet. Certainly I have to refuse if people call me an alien or Anti-German. I am a citizen in this world and a citizen on this planet and certainly I do treat myself as a citizen in this world as a human being and claim to be a human being.

If some people call me an alien this leads to the conclusion if these people perhaps could be Anti-human? The international community should investigate who might be PRO-human beings and who might be Anti–human beings. This investigation and research would so easily deliver hundreds if not thousand of interesting stories which have to be covered in the newspapers, on radio, the television. So far as I have heard about the number I do believe there are about 6.7 billions of human beings in this world. Who in the world could claim that he or she is not born in this world and on this planet? And who in the world would believe such a thing even if someone would claim to be born as a human being not in this world and on this planet? My belief system includes that all human beings have equal rights to live, for social security, for democracy, liberty, peace and justice.

This might be shocking news. But I am also Anti-Abortion when it comes to the point where dictators do believe they might have the right to abort millions of human beings by war or other disasters which have caused by human beings. Not every disaster is a natural one or caused by a supernatural and supreme authority. Some of the disasters are created by people which do profit from wars and love to abort (to kill) millions of people, instead to save the life or a man or woman or even more. War is abortion in the higher sense. Someone else is making the decision if you might live or not. I believe the right to create live and to take life belongs to the LORD our GOD, only. It is very easy to deliver the proof. Certainly I do believe we have to bring to an end the bloody circle of violence.

Horses and dogs seems to be more intelligent than us poor human beings in the area of social ties and behavior. Have you ever heard a dog or a horse, which was white or yellow calling a brown dog or a black horse to be a non-dog or to be a non-horse? The critics should understand you can not change this: I am a human being and I am a citizen in this world and on this planet. Certainly I will continue to support and to work hard for international understanding, liberty, democracy, peace, social security, justice and human rights.

It is no secret that some dictators and supporters of a tyranny want to make all of us their slaves. We should by no means allow such a thing going to happen. Therefore it is important to be engaged in the defense of democracy, liberty, international understanding, peace, liberty, social values and justice. This engagement will actually make many of us better human beings.”

PLEASE: Do not pay any attention to Anti-Obama „Christian“ propaganda – About the danger of smear campaigns during U.S elections

PLEASE: Do not pay any attention to Anti-Obama „Christian“ propaganda – About the danger of smear campaigns during U.S elections

By Andreas Klamm

Washington. D.C./New York City. Perhaps I should be thankful that I am not an U.S. citizen at this time and therefore I have not the right to vote for Senator Barack Obama or Senator John Mc Cain.

In October 2007 I have written to the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C, United States of America (U.S.A) and have requested according to ARTICLE 15, according to the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS by the UNITED NATIONS the change of citizenship from the German citizenship into the American citizenship. Certainly I do make no secret of the fact that I want to become an U.S. citizen.

By birth I am a French-German citizen and since 1984 I am working as journalist, author, broadcast journalist and even as independent television- film- radio- and media producer.

As founder and director of the IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty and IBS Television Liberty I need to ask you today because of very sad incidents which happened in the past weeks during the Presidential campaign: „PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION to smear campaigns issued by so called Christian believers.“

Some of the so called Christian believers have issued news and press releases which should be accounted for what they are: SMEAR CAMPAIGNS against Senator Barack Obama. This could be perhaps even called racism. However I do not want to go this far.

These so called Christian believers claim to know that Senator Barack Obama is a Muslim. Since weeks I am doing a lot of research on Senator Barack Obama and so far as I have been able to gather the news and information he is not officially known as a Muslim believer.

However even if Senator Barack Obama would be a faithful man of the Muslim faith, there would be nothing wrong with such a thing according the the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and both of the Presidential candidates, Senator Barack Obama and Senator John Mc Cain have caused me to study again and again the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS by the UNITED NATIONS and the U.S. CONSTITUTION and many other issues. However therefore I give thanks to both of the Presidential candidates.

As you are able to imagine I would love to know already today who will become the next President of the United States of America but we have to wait until November 4, 2008. One thing seems to be certain: The candidate which will be able to get more votes for himself and his party will become the next President of the United States of America.

What I find quite difficult in concern of these so called christians which issue all kind of information during a worse SMEAR CAMPAIGN against Senator Barack Obama, have these Christian believers forgotten, that in the Bible it is written to love 1. The LORD our God, 2. your neighbor as thyself and even 3. to LOVE YOUR ENEMIES.

Why is number 3 this important. Even if some so called Christian believers would account Senator Barrack Obama as an enemy they have by no means the right to issue information against Senator Barrack Obama during a smear campaign. Christian believers are supposed even to LOVE their enemies and not to harm them during any kind of smear campaign.

Another serious strange thing: So many so called Christian believers are fighting against abortion, which seems to be a serious Christian important duty. But on the other hand they are supporting the death penalty such against Troy Davis which has testified in the public that he has not killed the police officer. Seven of nine witnesses have withdrawn their given testimonies against Troy Davis. There is not one physical evidence that Troy Davis has killed a person or police officer.

It does not match if so called “Christian believers” do support the death penalty even against a possible innocent man.

Hear the statement of Mr. Troy Davis yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg3cJOdzO1A. He said that he serves in prison for 16 years for a crime which did he NOT commit.

So how in the world so called “Christian believers” can fight against abortion on one hand and on the other hand they do cry for the murder of a possible innocent man, such as Mr. Troy Davis.

Where in the world are these millions of so called Christian believers to take action to avoid the killing of an innocent man. True believers in Christ would do so, but there are not many of them so far as we have been able to notice.

If some one calls herself or himself to be a “Christian believer” it does not mean always that they are true believers, because true believers would not allow it going to happen that a possible innocent man is going to be killed in the state of Georgia on October 27 and true believers would not participate a SMEAR campaign against one of the Presidential candidates.

Therefore PLEASE understand, IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty, IBS Television Liberty is providing all different kind of news and information, television and radio reports since 1986.

IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty is operating under LOW- and NO-budget conditions and under ARTICLE 18 and ARTICLE 19 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS.

For reason of documentation we do even publish news and information which are totally different to our own views, beliefs and faith. With most of the news and information which we do provide we do not agree in any way. Certainly we do publish news and information which are totally in contradiction to our own political views, faith or belief. ARTICLE 18 and ARTICLE 19 of the UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS by the UNITED NATIONS make such things possible, so far as we do receive under BEST circumstances all different kind of information, that people, meaning our readers, viewers and listener can make their own decision.

When it comes to the point that we are getting aware of the fact that so many news and press releases have been issued against one person or organization we are making AWARE our readers, viewers and listeners of SMEAR campaigns but we do not oppress the documentation of any kind of information and news.

We are receiving a lot of news and press releases issued by the United Nations also but we are not associated with the United Nations. We are an alternative and „independent“ media meaning that financial restrictions do apply as we do operate under LOW- and NO-budget conditions and all people do know that the production of news, information, radio and television programs and all kind of different work COSTS MONEY.

After the smear campaigns against Senator Barack Obama got this worse I need to ask you hereby today to VOTE INDEPENDENT as possible. Make your vote based upon education, financial, political and social issues but DO NOT PAY ATTENTION to brainwashing SMEAR CAMPAIGNS against one of the Presidential candidates.

Perhaps you should consider that these so called „Christian propaganda“ is not even Christian, as you have learned Christian believers are supposed to love 1. The LORD our God, 2. your neighbor as thyself and even 3. to LOVE YOUR ENEMIES.

Not one of the Presidential candidates is an enemy in concern of belief or faith related issues. All of the Presidential candidates are candidates for the U.S. elections in the United States of America and in this world.

Thank you!

Letter from the United Nations in Geneve to journalist Mr. Andreas Klamm

Letter from the United Nations in Geneve to journalist Mr. Andreas Klamm

Washington D.C. / New York City/October 21, 2008/3mnewswire.org/– . The journalist Andreas Klamm, founder of British Newsflash Magazine, IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty, IBS Television Liberty, MJB Mission News, ISSN 1999-8418 has officially confirmed that he has written some petitions to the United Nations offices in New York City and in Geneve. It seems that already since years he has communication with the United Nations.

„The petitions have be written in concern of human rights issues, elementary and fundamental human rights such as the right to live for all people, change of citizenship according to Article 15, Universal Declaration of the Human Rights by the United Nations (UN), targeted killing, the murder of people and other important issues. I believe it is the duty of every human being to stand up for human rights and it does not matter this much, in which countries the abuses and the serious violations against the human rights are going to happen. However even if some rich and wealthy people and certain members of the government believe they might have the right to oppress the truth and to murder people this does not mean that these people and political forces have the right to do so. This does not mean that I am anti-German. I am only against the massive abuses and violations against the human rights and this is a different and important issue.“, said Andreas Klamm.

How global economy works

How global economy works

By Andreas Klamm

New York./October 20, 2008/3mnewswire.org/– Since 19 months I am on investigation how international and global economy works:

Here is the first simple answer which is easy to understand for everyone and this is one of my shortest articles which I have written since 24 years, since 1984 when I became the first time a journalist.

The formula is this simple:

1. no money = 2. no food, = 3. no rights, no education = 4. no human rights = 5. danger for life / starvation = 6. no medical care = 7. no hope = 8. no peace = 9. fights (even within local communities, only the stronger will survive, people say in Germany) = 10. war = 11. no trade = 12. no economy = 13. global war 14. nuclear disaster and the end of human mankind and the world as we know it.

An international known author has given to me the tip of these facts during a telephone conversation he has said: “Poor people have no rights and no human rights”. At time we had this phone conversation my answer was “You must be wrong because the Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed by the United Nations in 1948 in New York City, United States of America states and says something different…”

However 19 months ago I have started an investigative research and I have come to the knowledge this far, that the author and founder of an international human rights organization has told me a part of the truth, which is not only sad but disturbing also.

The statement which I have heard many times during questioning people on the streets in Germany “…only the stronger or the strongest will survive…” (is leading to the conclusion that all other human beings have to die) is the proof how evil human beings in many cases are. For children, poor women and disabled or sick men elderly people there is just no place or room on this planet earth except the grave yard.
