The Faith and Freedom Institute will Conduct a Prayer Vigil at the White House in Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, July 7 /Christian Newswire/ — On Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM, The Faith and Freedom Institute will conduct a prayer vigil outside the north lawn of The White House in Washington, DC, on the sidewalk parallel to Pennsylvania Avenue across from LaFayette Park.
The purpose of the prayer vigil is threefold:
1) To pray for America, as it is evident that the nation is rapidly falling away from the Judeo-Christian values upon which she was established.
2) To call America back to God by repenting of national and personal sins which have angered God.
3) To warn America that God may indeed bring judgment on the land if repentance is not conducted.
At the prayer vigil, Dr. Gary G. Dull, President and co- founder, and Dr. David Kistler, Vice President and co- founder of The Faith and Freedom Institute will speak to the occasion followed by a time during which all present will pray for the nation.
Dr. Dull said this morning that „in the past six months, America has taken on a course toward socialism, secularism, and liberalism so rapidly that if the direction is not changed, the America we all grew up to know and love will dissolve and many of our freedoms will be lost. Thus all who love America and who have faith in God must humble themselves, pray, seek God’s face and turn from their wicked way so that God will heal and revive the nation. We must not delay. We must act today. We must work hard, stand up, speak out and pray earnestly for God to save America.“
